Cindy is passionate about supporting social justice leaders in building powerful teams and organizations. She is an organizer at heart, who brings over two decades of management and leadership experience in the progressive movement. She believes deeply in relationships, racial equity, and the power of organizing and effective management to change the world. At The Management Center, she has played multiple roles, including Managing Director, progressive sector head, and coach. Prior to joining The Management Center, she served as the Managing Director of Citizen Engagement Lab (CEL), an accelerator for social change entrepreneurs launching innovative projects and startups. Cindy began her career at Green Corps, and eventually served as its Executive Director, where she trained and mentored hundreds of organizers to run and win environmental campaigns, led recruitment efforts that doubled the size of the training program, and diversified fundraising and partnerships. Cindy holds a degree in Molecular Biology from Yale University and lives in Berkeley, California.
