Based in the Washington, DC, metro area, Sarah Hodgdon brings more than 25 years of management experience to her work as a Partner at The Management Center and the lead for the adjunct coaching program. As a TMC coach, she has worked with democracy\u200b warriors\u200b, climate leaders\u200b, and philanthrop\u200bic reformers\u200b and has supported executives and leadership teams with hiring processes, goal setting, and navigating change. Prior to TMC, Sarah served as National Program Director of the Sierra Club where she managed a department of 300+ staff, including the organization\u2019s lawyers, lobbyists, \u200bcampaigners, \u200band a nationwide organizing team as well as hiring and managing the organization’s first-ever Director of Equity, Justice, and Inclusion. Earlier in her career, Sarah served as the Executive Director of the Dogwood Alliance, based in Asheville, NC, which works to protect forests and communities in the Southern United States. She is a recent chair of the board of directors for the Boston-based Corporate Accountability and was a member of the founding body for the Building Equity and Alignment for Impact (BEAI) Initiative, helping to build greater solidarity across the environmental movement. Sarah has a B.A. in Comparative Literature and an Environmental Studies Certificate from Indiana University (Bloomington).
